152 What Do You Want to Be When you Grow Up?

What’s my purpose? How do I figure it out? Where do I even start?
 
In this episode, I break it allll down for you: Why purpose has been so hard to “find”, where you need to start, the first step you need to take, questions and inquiries to journal on to get there and taking imperfect powerful action.
 
I seriously make it sooo simple.
 
Women come to me usually in one of two places: “I have absolutely NO CLUE what my purpose is, please help me find it” OR “I know my purpose, but I don’t know what to do next/with it.”
 
My PurposeGirl Process works either way, but in today’s episode, I’m answering what to do if you don’t know your purpose at all.
 
There are 5 steps to take and they will likely surprise you as it doesn’t begin with thinking about what “career” you want.
 
Rather I believe that the question “What do you want to BE when you grow up” has messed us up both in terms of career and purpose. Maybe you want to “be” more than 1 thing! Purpose comes down to BE, DO, IMPACT and I’m excited to share it all with you!

151 What’s the First Step to Purpose?

Ever feel anxious about Purpose? Like what is the first step?? I got you. When stressed about Purpose, women are typically in one of two places: You know your purpose and don’t know what to do next, or you have absolutely no idea what your purpose is. Today’s episode addresses both to give you the first step either way. My guests are two incredible soul sisters, two of my dear friends and clients, two Goddess on Purpose alum who each found me in one of those places: Deahna Byrd-Taylor and April Codd.

Deahna knew exactly what her purpose was – to to be a holistic health coach – but didn’t know what steps to take to make that purpose and passion into a career. She was stuck in fear. April didn’t even know what the word purpose meant when she first found me. She just knew that she felt unhappy, stuck, and going through the mundane motions of life. Two totally different blocks, and through the coaching and support each woman received in the Goddess on Purpose program, they have both taken not just steps but HUGE jumps towards purpose.

Using their examples, in this episode I will teach you how to pursue your purpose, taking that first step. In this episode, April, Deahna and I talk about:
